There are 2 modern fully equipped kitchens, a living area, a dining area and laundry facilities for guests to share.
Every studio has its own key, and the building has an onsite manager, secure doors, and private parking.

U tas – the University of Tasmania is less than 800 meters from your address making it the perfect location. U live is also very close to Hobart city center and famous Salamanca on the Hobart waterfront.
U live – come completely furnished with bed, wardrobe, desk, fridge, and heater. EVERY ROOM has its own private bathroom with shower and toilet. Every room has a window allowing for fresh air and natural light. U share 2 modern fully equipped kitchens and laundry facilities. Each room has a TV aerial connection, and internet line cable for you to connect. Each tenant also gets their own locker-style pantry to store food.

The modern studios come completely furnished with bed, pillows, bedding, towels, wardrobe, desk, chair, fridge, and heater.
EVERY ROOM has its own private bathroom (also limited special bathroom for disabled people) with shower and toilet. Every room has a window allowing for fresh air and natural light.

Sandy Bay’s shopping precinct includes dozens of retail outlets, two large supermarkets, and specialty delicacy stores. The Accommodation is just around the corner from a variety of cafes and restaurants offering the many flavours of the world.
The accommodation is very close to Hobart CBD and famous Salamanca on the Hobart waterfront. Hobart has a busy shopping precinct in the city’s centre that is worth exploring to find great deals and hidden treasures.

Retail and Food Therapy There’s plenty to do, whether it’s strolling down to the Salamanca markets on a Saturday morning, or enjoying an ice cream and soaking up the sun at Sandy Bay Beach in the Summer. Maybe take a river cruise, or sample some of Tasmania’s finest produce at one of dozens of fine cafes and restaurants.
To push your mind to its limits, visit the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, and explore the world-famous Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) or even take a ferry up river to MONA for an out-of-this-world modern art experience.

*All the above rates are per room based on single occupancy (1 person) for single rooms and double occupancy (2 persons) for double rooms. Rates may be adjusted in peak season.
Terms and Conditions
Important Information to consider before booking
1. Ulive is strictly non-smoking environment and no person is permitted to smoke within complex.
2. Ulive is not suitable for people travelling with pets.
Deposits/Security
A credit card is required to secure all bookings. Full payment is required prior to check-in. In event if a cancellation occurs within 14 days of arrival no refund is available. If you cancel 15+ days prior to arrival, payment will be refunded, less the $50 administration fee as well as any other charges charged to us by the booking website. We strongly advise guests to take out appropriate travel insurance to cover you in the event that you need to cancel.
Any damage, additional cleaning, missing items or deodorising charges (if guests smoke in the unit which is strictly non-smoking) will also be charged to your credit card used to secure your booking upon departure.
How to Pay Your Deposit and Balance
We are happy to accept Visa, MasterCard or electronic transfer of funds for payment. However, a credit card is required as security for all bookings. Payment by cheque is by prior arrangement only.
Check In and Departure Times
Check in is normally between 2 and 7pm, and we ask that guests vacate their room by 11am on day of departure. If you will be arriving after 7pm, please let us know so that arrangement can be made accordingly. Early check-in may be possible by prior arrangement, please enquire when you book.
